Students will learn the basics of using a computer including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and the basics of using Windows and file management. Students will learn how to navigate the Internet.
Course Goal:
By the end of the course students will:
Feel comfortable using Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Know how to find help when needed
Know how to navigate the Internet
Know how to create, open, save, and print a document

I love technology and have since I first watched “The Jetsons” on TV as a child! I believe that learning technology should be fun and easy, so I will make every effort to do so. Many of the documents you will use will already be started so you don’t have to start from scratch. For example, when we “cut and paste,” you will do so with an existing document so that we don’t waste time. I will do everything I can so that we maximize the little time we have together. The schedule is just a guideline. It can change, and probably will depending on skills needed. I will post changes on the class wiki!
